Information sharing and exchange in virtual space has become an indispensable part of our daily lives to which many people resolve to fill up the communication gap that exists in real-life, and the internet forum has become an important platform and bridge for such virtual social interaction and activities. In this new media era, college and university students have become the main practitioners and spearheads, making them an integral part of this study which focuses on a group of love seeking university student who long for attention from the opposite sex and hope to find a suitable boyfriend or girlfriend in order to alleviate some of life's pressure. But due to the narrowness of their social circle,many resolve to writing love seeking posts and interact with other people online to try to achieve their goal. It is therefore worthy of our deep contemplation as to how these high learning university students use their love seeking internet posts to present themselves, shape their perceivable image, combine their real and virtual identities and find their self identity on a virtual space such as the internet forum.The main body of this paper constructs the analytical thinking of"self-presentation——self-identity——identity-disorder-identity-con firmation——group-identity——reality-regression". From the Dynamic Angle of View, we can fully understand and explain the process of identity construction of the college students' network communication in the "BYR Forum" .By focusing on the content of the forum post analysis and in-depth interviews with research methods, according to the theories of Self-Presentation Theory, symbolic Interaction Theory and Identity Theory, we can explore the psychological basis of the network communication of the college students,the self-identity maintenance of the self-identity,the identity reconstruction after the real life and finally return to the practical significance of identity identification in the whole network environment.The first chapter is the research introduction, which comprehensively elaborates the research background, the research question, the research purpose and significance. Through the comprehensive study of the domestic and foreign research present situation, we can grasp the research methods, the sample and the interview object. The second chapter is the analysis of the media environment of college students 'online forum,explains the reasons of university students' behavior in the network forum,and grasp the characteristics of the research object.The third chapter points out the three kinds of identity characteristics of college students when they are engaged in online forum and analyzes the self-identity construction of college students in virtual communities. The fourth chapter analyzes college students how to identify groups of friends according to group rules, achieve group belonging and maintain personal identity. In the fifth chapter, the paper summarizes the phenomena in the process of interaction, analyzes the practice of the virtual community construction of identity in the real world and puts forward a reflective discussion on the behavior of college students.
