Research And Develepment Of Software Defined Networing Test System

Software defined networking(SDN),where network control is decoupled from forwarding and is directly programmable,has been put forward in the last several years.The new form of network architecture has been proving the effectiveness,management convenience and enables the programmability.With the continuous development of SDN,a growing number of organizations take part in the research and development of SDN.As a result,it is more and more important to make sure that different participants'understanding of the agreement is consistent with each other and they implemented SDN functions correctly,and testing is the best way to achieve this goal.However,because the northbound interface of SDN has not been standardized yet,current research and study of SDN test are Southbound interface-related test,and there is almost no study of the test of SDN northbound interface or the test combined with northbound interface and southbound interface.This paper focus on the research and application of SDN test system which can do northbound interface-related test as well as the test combine with northbound interface and northbound interface,and this paper includes following work:(1)Analyzed SDN testing requirements according to test technology and SDN situation.Determined SDN test content which includes protocol test and function test.Considering that the northbound interface of SDN has not been modified yet,the northbound interface-related test content is determined by the northbound interface's functions but not the specific protocol.(2)Proposed a SDN test system architecture according to SDN test content and achieve its functions.The system is not associated with any specific northbound interface but abstract northbound interface functions.When doing northbound interface-related test,the system can recover northbound interface protocol according to configuration file,so the system is compatible with different northbound interface protocol.(3)Proposed a dynamic routing verification algorithm for SDN.When verifying the route path calculating function of controller,the test system have to judge the merits of the route path calculated by controller.If use KSP algorithm,the test will waste a lot time,so we proposed a new algorithm base on KSP algorithm whose time performance is better than KSP algorithm.
