With the rapid development of mobile communication technologies, it is tend to be a great many of mobile subscriber in the future. It is become the focus how to store and operate the majority of subscriber data.The aim of this thesis is verify the S-DHLR software product to ensure the product's integrity and validity.For this reason,the thesis introduced the advanced test technology and method.Based on the all-around product testing,my work is to test the enhanced feature of S-DHLR ,analyse the testing result ,orient the proplem of the software and put forward the modification advice.That establish the stability foundation for S-DHLR produnt's commercial value.The innovation of this thesis is applied the general testing theory to the fact project.Becase using the mouti-user,mouti-protocal programmed testing system which supply the graphics message editor and graphics state-mechine editor to edit the test script for dynamic black-box testing ,greatly improved the efficiency of testing.The content in this thesis is an important element in Lucent Technologies'Research and Development Project -"S-DHLR(Super– Distribute Home Location Register)". The paper analyzed the current developments and future of data storage and operation of core network in Chapter1. In Chapter2 it discussed the key technologies in 3G mobile communication networks. And then lucubrated the basic principle of S-DHLR(Super– Distribute Home Location Register)in Chapter3. After investigated the theory and method of software testing, in Chapter4 we raised the testing strategy specific for S-DHLR. The following chapter gave a detailed statement of testing procedures of S-DHLR and analyzed the testing result. At last, we summarized the work of this thesis, came out some improved measures in S-DHLR testing and pointed out the direction in the future.
