With the continuous development of Internet industry and computer technology,the scale of network and server cluster becomes more and more large,cloud computing and cloud storage require the support of more massive server clusters.Internet Data Center(IDC),which carries a large number of data and services,has been highly valued by many enterprises.And the operation of IDC stably is related to the development of the key business of the company.Efficiently using servers and saving operating costs directly relate to the company's profits.It is more important that collecting energy information of each equipment effectively in data center.First of all,this thesis studies the basic principles of Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP),which is simplicity and cross-platform.Combined with the actual needs of users,it proposed the frame structure of the system of data center energy data collection based on SNMP protocol.As a fact standard,SNMP protocol defines a unified interface and protocol,so that there is only one set of interfaces of each supported devices which makes management unified of devices by managers,and makes the system uniformity and scalability.It discusses the positions and meanings of the data in the MIB libraries that collected by the system,and then it gives the design of the database table to store those data in the paper.Then,due to using multi-core CPU,which greatly enhances the computing of the server,and multi-threading technology,it is effective that the system process of collecting more data.It costs less time of each collecting data,making the acquisition frequency more intensively by using multi-core CPU resources.And it gives a communication module that interact with oracle in a Linux environment by using C++ language and combining OCCI library.Finally,by testing of functional and performance,this system was deploying to real environment to run,verified its stability and scalability.The paper also provides the test cases.And the system collected actual data to verify the performance.Thereby the system completed the functional requirements.
