This study examines how the image of China is portrayed and constructed by Moroccan newspapers from 2011 until 2016.Content analysis was employed in order to study terms of news frame and tone differences.The case study of the Moroccan King visit to China on the 11 & 12,May 2016 is also analyzed and compared employing a comparative case-oriented methodology.The main finding indicates that stories about China has increased over time in Moroccan newspapers;the valence of reports varies according to different content frame.The possible causes and factors that affect this result are also discussed in depth in this research. |
