In recent years,the dust problem becomes increasingly serious.The dust can cause chronic damage to people's bodies directly,and lead to a series of diseases(such as rhinitis,pharyngitis,bronchitis,pneumoconiosis,etc.).It can also result in frightening bombings.Therefore,the detection and prediction of dust is very important in public places.The Android Based Real-time System with Advance Warning for Detecting Dust is designed and implemented by using wireless sensor network technology.The main work is included as follows:(1)Perception and collection of dust data.We propose Expand Collection Tree Protocol(ECTP)which is added the reverse routing between the root node and the leaf node on the basis of traditional Collection Tree Protocol(CTP),so that the network topology can be adapt quickly,and we implement reliable transmission based on acknowledgment.(2)Server-side's data management.We design and implement the serial port management tool for server-side which can obtain dust data by serial communication between sink node and the serial port management tool,then analyze and manage the dust data.At the same time,Apache service is established to monitor the clients' requests at all times in server-side to ensure that the dust data is pushed to the client in real time.(3)Design and implementation of Hybrid App.There are still several disadvantages in Native App and Web App.For one thing,Native App has problems in transplantation,high costs of maintenance and development and so on.For another,Web App can't push real-time messages and has restrictions of accessing to the local files.Considering above issues,we design Hybrid App as a solution.(4)Validation Experiment for the scheme.We use nesC programming on TinyOS operating system,dust node and Teols B are used as wireless sensor network nodes to sense and transmit data.We design.NET based serial port management tool to communicate with the sensor node,and monitor clients' requests through establish a server with Apache services and Php script on the PC.With the Hybrid App,we can send requests and display the data in real time.Then,we conduct tests in scene of different dust concentration,and analyse the results on both server-side and client-side of the application,the client is advance warning while the dust concentration becomes abnormal.In addition,we prove that ECTP remarkably improved compared with CTP by experiments.The real-time system with advance warning for detecting dust which we have designed,can be used in the area of dust pollution,help the managers know the dynamic of dust in time so that they can take precautions against the occurrence of dust explosion.
