Research On BPR Based On Business Process Mining

As an important approach of enterprise improvement, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) has become the basis of enterprise information, organization change, etc. Great changes are difficult to be obtained only by experts' subjective decision-making, and efficient decision-making support tools are lack at the moment. Business process mining (BPM) does well in knowledge management and decision-making support. It is significant for successful implementation if BPM could be introduced into BPR projects. Our study will be mainly aimed at the integration between the implementation and the Business process mining. At first, we proposed a framework of BPR implementation based on the BPM .In the framework we illustrate the needed support tools based on the BPM in the every phases of implementation. In this paper we emphasis the enterprise diagnosis stage in the BPR projects.In the enterprise diagnosis, we analyze the main work we need to do in BPR projects. Be faced with the enterprises diagnosis of the current BPR projects excessively relied on experts and human manual work, we introduce the BPM theory into the diagnosis phase to improve the efficiency and accuracy of business process diagnosis. The dynamic flow control, fuzziness and uncertainty make the original use of the methods of calculation Markov Chain in the Analysis of the Performance of the work flow is not applicable. To solve the problems, we use the business process mining algorithm to analyze the complex and uncertainty workflow performance.The effective integration between the BPR and BPM makes better use of the existing experiences to make the BPR projects goes successfully and smoothly. And it evolves the implementation of BPR from art to scientific changes.
