Data collector is playing an increasingly important role in modern scientific research. With the development of modern science and technology, the data transmission speed and transmission capacity is much more than before and is also becoming higher to the requirement of data acquisition unit,Data collector also need to make a judgement according to the external environment and to communicate with the host effectivly and the data transmission besides as a storage device.In this paper, design of data collector besides before combining the advantage of the data acquisition unit, also according to the project actual situation to design their own unique set of data collector. In this paper, design of data collector besides before combining the advantage of the data acquisition unit, also according to the project actual situation to design their own unique set of data collector.This paper first analyzes the research background and significance of the data acquisition unit, further studies the current situation of the development of domestic and foreign data collector, looking for the key technology of data acquisition unit and developing trend, the technical index of this subject and the architecture of the project. After pointed out this topic to achieve the main function and implementation method. Hardware side chooses DSP +FPGA as the main control components, combined with the double SRAM ping-pong cache,double NAND FLASH memory, USB communication circuit on the answering machine to carry on the control and data acquisition, and collected data stored in the NAND FLASH,then through the USB interface of NAND FLASH data uploaded to the PC which were observed by PC software were observed. On PC software at the same time required for data acquisition and communication links, address code storage, data collect, data erasure, etc.Also note in the process of program debugging to NAND FLASH to make the necessary bad block management operations,including through ECC algorithm for operation,such as a broken piece of identification.At last, by testing the real data detection data collector and the project can carry on the data acquisition work effectively, conform to the requirements of the project specifications.
