With a rapid growth of Mobile Communication,4G network has become a major bearer network to provide high-speed data service by global network operators.However,the voice service is still carrying on the traditional 2G and 3G network.As technology updates,VoLTE comes out.VoLTE,short for Voice over LTE,is one kind of IP data transmission technology,which makes it possible to support voice and data service on a same packet switch network,and circuit switch network is no more necessary.In July 2016,China Mobile except for some special areas,have finished Construction and application of Volte,which makes a crucial work for network operators to optimize the complex multilayer network and meet different service requirements.In the VoLTE architecture,IMS as the system service control layer while EPC as bearer layer only.A variety of technology in the terminal,wireless network,packet domain,circuit domain and IMS domain needs to cooperate to achieve packet domain speech and multimedia services based on IMS and LTE,and guarantee the quality of services end-to-end,which contains the wireless bearing grade QoS marking,AMR-WEB voice encoding,SIP&SDP,RoHC,SPS,eSRVCC.VoLTE has been mature and widely used through the world to provide customers with HD voice,video services.This thesis summarize three principal aspects of wireless network optimization,coming from lots practice.First,the principle of basic wireless network optimization are discussed,to solve basic problems like weak coverage and interference.Second is the principle of key event optimization,which makes up a series of steps to solve abnormal events like drop call,set-up failure,handover failure,RRC reestablish.Third is a methodology called "four-dimensions eight-steps methodology" to improve volte voice quality.at last the parameters standard involved VoLTE is set and the strategy is discussed.In addition,thesis contains a large number of cases to illustrate the above princeples.Either the principles or the cases could offer great help and improve work efficiency in the construction and optimization of VoLTE.
