Research On The Practice Of Slow Journalism Under The Context Of Internet In China

New media gets sharp development under the background of internet,on one hand,it seriously shocks the ecology of traditional media,on the other hand,it changes the way of the production mode of news and the reading habits of audience.With the emergence of Wechat and Microblog,audience are not only the receiver,but the publisher,the audience join in the production process in serious way,who makes the production mode of news become opening.Audience have a further demand,they are eager to get valuable,thoughtful and deep information in,thoughtful,in-depth news and information in pieces of news.The emergence and its idea of “Slow Journalism” have identical views with the requirements of media under the background of internet.Susan Greenberg is the first person who put forward the concept of "Slow Journalism" in 2007 academically.In recent years,Chinese media and academia institution have began to research "Slow Journalism" as a strategy for traditional media to face the challenge which comes from the new media.However,the research of putting the theory of "Slow Journalism" into practice is fewer.This paper discusses the background of “slow news” idea,the advantage in practice and the experience of other countries which can be learned by we China.In this paper,Content Analysis and Case Analysis Method have been applied.The first part,except for introduction,discusses the appearance background of “Slow Journalism” from angels of diversified news production methods and differentiated news consumption as well as news professionalism.The second part analyzes media's action towards “Slow Journalism” in practice from the professional work of news processing,news topics,follow-up re-processing of news works.Then,discussing the experience of other countries which can be learned by we China.and proving the “Slow Journalism” is a new way to give consideration to marketing benefits and social responsibility of media.Finally,this article will give some advice on the basis of analyzing more open news production methods and providing high-quality content-oriented news to look ahead to “Slow Journalism”.
