The Design And Application Of Millimeter Wave Radiometer Receiver

Millimeter wave radiometer is a kind of passive microwave remote sensing device,which has wide application prospects in the fields of passive security scan,navigation under low visibility,stealth target detection and early warning,nimble ammunition guidance and etc.Receiver is the most important core component in a radiometer system,of which the technical indicators represent the main technology level of radiometer.Receiver has the function of signal amplification,linear transformation,scaling and etc,and the sensitivity,linearity and stability of receiver can characterize corresponding indicators of the radiometer system.Therefore,the development of receiver has important significance to the development of radiometer technology.In this paper,a kind of radiometer receiver working in millimeter waveband is studied.This receiver is designed to work in K/V dual-waveband,including K-band(22?30 GHz)and V-band(51?59 GHz)with 8 channels,based on the characteristics of its application environment.In the meantime,the research will carry out in the directions of superheterodyne system and direct detection system by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of both with the data,in order to learn more about how the receivers in different system effect the performance of the radiometer.In the development of radiometer receiver,we begin with the theory analysis,learn about the working principle and main technical index of the radiometer,compare the radiometers in different systems,and confirm the receiver type in the topic.Then we design the overall scheme of the radiometer,determine the principle diagram of the receiver,and design each unit circuit of the receiver in detail including the selection of components and circuit simulation.Finally the development process and the test results of the receiver are presented in this thesis,with the data comparisons of the receivers in two kinds of systems.At the end of the article,the application situation of the receiver is introduced.This type of the radiometer receiver is applied to the weather radar radiometer,which can effectively display the weather conditions in real time and has good practical significance.
