Millimeter wave receiver is a vital part of radio astronomy,atmospheric remote sensing,security imaging,nondestructive testing and other fields.According to its structure,mainly divided into superheterodyne receiver and direct detection receiver.This article studied the direct detector receiver,which does not need to add local vibration,the structure is relatively simple.Compared to the direct detection method achieved with other devices,the use of Schottky detection diode to achieve direct detection has shorter response time and fewer restrictions on use.Therefore,the research in this project is of great significance for the development of millimeter wave receiver technology which requires rapid response.In this paper,millimeter wave multi-channel direct-sense receiver components are studied.Mainly including detector components,low-noise amplifiers,and operational amplifiers.First of all,this paper carried out the design and research of millimeter wave detector,which works in the V-band.Secondly,according to the needs of the project,an existing W-band detector in the laboratory was applied to a W-band multi-channel directdetected receiver with an operating frequency of 75-100 GHz.The receicer was finally used as a passive microwave radiometer for scanning imaging systems.And finally completed the researches and designs of other receiver components.Millimeter wave multi-channel direct-detection receiver component research first began with the detector assembly,which used the HSCH-9161 detector diode to study and establish its three-dimensional model.Then studied and analyzed the waveguide microstrip transition structure,input matching structure and filter structure.In the end,the V-band detector S11 simulation results were less than-4 d B in the 50-75 GHz range and voltage sensitivity up to2350 m V/m W.And then the overall block diagram of the multichannel direct-detected receiver was determined,and the low-noise amplifier,op amp,and power supply part were studied in depth.Finally,the receiver output voltage was relatively consistent across channels,between 4-5 V,and the sensitivity was less than 0.5 K at an integration time of 0.1 ms.
