With the development of the virtual instrument technology,the modular instrument application emerges at a historic moment,at the same time,the status of modular instrument application development which is based on the technology of graphical programming has become more and more prominent in the instrument system development.Based on the research of the combined modular instrument application platform,this paper puts forward some ideas of instrument application development platform to solve problems such as functional modules management chaos,modules coupling with the operation platform.complicated module combination and so on.The main research work of this paper include:1)The research of overall plan.On the question of modular instrument application software system developed by lab,this paper raises the concept of instrument software development platform,and the specific design and implementation approach of module managing and application programming.2)The research of module library and the visual management of module.In order to better manage functional modules,this paper defines the instrument module local library and database,and does research on visualization management method of the general instrument function modules.3)The research of visual programming of module.For simplifying the combination method of instrument software,the paper studies the visual programming method of instrument functional modules,which is included the research of graphical structure,editing method and the interactive method with documents.4)The standardization,management and programming method of composite modules.To further speed up the development of combined modular instrument software,this paper proposes the concept and standardization of composite module.Meanwhile,this paper studies the management and programming method of composite module,which make instrument software development platform support the management,embedded-edit,development and secondary development of the composite modules.The establishment of instrument functional module library and support for its visual management provide rich elements in instrument software development,it’s the basement of combined modular instrument development platform.The research on visual programming method of instrument function modules optimize the developing way of instrument software,and improve the efficiency of the development.Through the idea of general instrument composite module,solve the problem of difficulty combination of numerous modules,breakthrough the bottleneck of rapid development of instrument software.In the end,the paper verifies the feasibility of instrument application development platform by steps as follows:using visual programming software create data acquisition unit,and put the new created composite module into library through management software.And last,combination data acquisition unit with other modules to create the data acquisition instrument software.
