Research On Post-disaster-reports From The Perspective Of Ecology Of Communication

Recent years,with the frequent occurrence of the disaster,the change of the environment of media,and the fact that the pattern of disaster report,people-centeredness,has become more in-depth after the WenChuan earthquake,there have been a kind of report,Post-disaster-reports,which content is introspection and review after the disaster.This kind of report is the reports which are reported in a time after disasters,often in the anniversary of the disaster or when other similar disaster strikes.Unlike the common disaster reports,the Post-disaster-reports do not aim for reporting the news objectively in the first time but digging out the information and stories behind the disaster deeply.They lay emphasis on the depth and whether they are thought-provoking,often are in-depth.If the disaster report gives the readers introspection,the Post-disaster-report gives them introspection beyond the introspection.As a branch of the disaster report,the Post-disaster-report has much social significance and social value.It worth further research.This article is about to research the Post-disaster-report.It is based on theories of Ecology of Communication,uses methods like document analysis,case analysis,comparative analysis,content analysis and discourse analysis.It focuses on the research of the value,the meaning and the influence made by the interaction of the Post-disaster-reports and the social circumstance.It also gives some advice for the future after-disasters report in China by finding the advantages and problems by the way of analyzing cases and comparing the Chinese and foreign reports.The Post-disaster-report is a new branch,a new area,is of great value.The author of this article thought that the Post-disaster-report has value and influence in society,journalism and communication,social individual,readers,participants,and victims.The Post-disaster-report can build social value of public,change the practice of news transmission,promote the enthusiasm that citizens join the social public affairs and improve their abilities.But in China,the Post-disaster-report still have some problems in the range,continuity,individual attention and the degree of attention.The Post-disaster-report is still not become an independent system yet,neither in the intra-industry nor the academia.Combine with some theories,the author of this article has given some advice for the development of the Post-disaster-report like paying attention to building the social value,people oriented,improving the realistic value and continuity of the topic,moderate spreading,developing new form of reporting,etc.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first is the introduction.The second explains some related conception and the flame of this article.The third analyzes the pase,a serious of reports in 10th year Anniversary of Chinese SARS event and a serious of reports,Post WenChuan Earthquake.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristic of the Post-disaster-report.The fifth compares Post-disaster-reports in China and foreign country.The sixth chapter analyzes the value and problem of Post-disaster-reports from the point of the ecology of communication.The seventh gives some advice for the development of the Post-disaster-report in China,based on the analysis in previous chapters.The fact that disaster report has come to turn to the Post-disaster-report from the common people-centeredness disaster report reflects the sense of social responsibility of media organizations in China.But with all the surprise and hope,we can also see some problems in the development of the Post-disaster-report in China.This article researches the theories and practice,aims to find out a way where the after-disasters report in China is going to.
