A Study On Semantic Integration Of Digital Resources Between The Library And Museum

In recent years,China has ushered in the new opportunity to develop cooperation of the libraries,museums and other cultural service agencies.On the one hand,the state has issued a number of strategies to promote the integration of cultural resources.On the other hand,the sustainable development of information technology has not only changed the users' demand for cultural resources,but also provided the technological base for the integration of digital cultural resources.Under this environment,it is of great significance to carry out the semantic integration of digital resources between libraries and museums.However,libraries and museums administrate their internal resources independently and adopt different standards to describe their digital resources,which lead to a large number of distributed heterogeneous data,that influence the semantic integration of digital resources seriously.The development of semantic web and the technology of ontology and linked data has provided effective support for semantic integration of digital resources.Whereas taking advantage of ontology and linked data to research the integration of digital resources mainly focus on the the single field at present,such as the integration of library digital resources.There was no study on semantic integration of digital resources between libraries and museums.This thesis takes the digital resources of library and museum as the research object,discusses the core problems involved in the semantic integration of digital resources on the support of the related technology of the semantic network.Also,it is on the basis of domestic and foreign research.Firstly,the thesis analyzes the characteristics of the digital resources of libraries and museums,and construct the metadata framework of the integration of the digital resources with reference to the common metadata standards of the the library and museum.Also,it realizes the semantic description of ordinary digital resources and knowledge organization resources with the metadata,ontology and SKOS,which solve the semantic heterogeneity problems in the process of semantic integration of digital resources between libraries and museums.Secondly,in view of the characteristics of ontology and linked data,this thesis introduces the role of ontology and linked data in semantic integration of digital resources.Also it constructs four-layer structure of semantic integration of digital resources between libraries and museums,which are the digital resource layer,the semantic description layer,the data distribution layer and the semantic integration layer.The construction of RDF link and the integration of semantic data in the process of semantic integration are analyzed in detail.The links of semantic data is mainly discussed from the construction of lexical links and relational links,and the corresponding association algorithm has been given,and integrate semantic related data.Thirdly,the thesis illustrates the thought of the semantic integration of the digital resources between libraries and museums by choosing an instance object from the library and the museum respectively.Finally,the author summarizes the research contents of this thesis and looked forward to the future research direction.
