Design And Implementation Of Zhonghuan College Enrolling System For Junior College Students

This thesis designs and implements an online registration and information management system for junior college students.The system builds a B/S frame system by adopting Tomcat Server,employing MySQL Database,and applying the programming languages and technology including HTML,JavaScrip,JSP,Servlet,the filter and the monitor,which obeys the model requirements of MVC framework.There are mainly 4 kinds of system users: the examinees,the system administrators,the enrolling administrators and the academic administrators.According to the basic process requirements of the registration work of student enrollment examination as well as the sequences of time and logic,the system implements diverse functions,including registration and login,students registration,information confirming,admission card printing,examination rooms arrangement,score input,score inquiry,admission inquiry,students enrollment stages definition and set and so on.The main work of the thesis is summarized as follow.The system adopts the server based on Java and Tomcat,which possesses good portability.It can adapt to both Windows operating system and Linux operating system,obeys MVC framework model requirements and uses Servlet technology,and has relatively good maintainability.The system uses B/S three layer software architecture,which can enable the system to distribute conveniently;the filter technology adopted not only thoroughly solves the system's messy code problem,but also solves the problem of the secure access to system resources.The system uses the monitor and Application object,which realizes the communication between various users as well as the function of online definition and setting.The system is practically applied in the enrolling works in Zhonghuan Information College,Tianjin University of Technology.It has achieved good results and will undertake improvement.
