Design And Implementation Of Book Information Management System For Library Based On JSP&Servlet

In recent years, higher vocational education are broadening in scale. As a result,the amount of students in these colleges are experienced a sharp rise. The demand forthe information managing of higher vocational colleges are much as a response.Although there are some achievements on information building and modernmanagement has been made in library management of colleges. There are a furtherstep can do for the service to readers. In order to develop the use of books and thebooks’ information management,I desired a library management system and it wascarried out.Unlike to library management system, the library information managementsystem offers information service and helps to read. While the library managementsystem makes the process of borrowing more automatic by management of librarycollection and the process of borrowing.This system adopt JSP, Servlet and use MyEclipse9.0as the tool. The databasemanagement system choose SQL Server2005. Tomcat is the server. We realized someforeground service function, such as scanning the pop books and the latest books,reading the information about books, searching books according to titles or contentsand looking through or publishing commentary about books. We also realized somebackground service function---to add,delete and rewrite the category and informationof booksIn this thesis, I introduced the contexts of information management system and thepresent condition at home and abroad and analyzed in detail the main function of thesystem, the framework of organization and examples for system. The thesis alsoincludes as follow: the implementation for accessing to database and user researching;the method and procedure of text.Above all, the purpose that I wrote this thesis is to improve the information levelof collage library management and make the library’s stuff work easily, readersborrow conveniently.
