With the deepening of radar signal processing algorithms,the contradiction between complexity and effectiveness of signal processing system is more prominent,and it is necessary to improve the speed of radar signal processing.In recent years,with the development of GPU and the introduction of CUDA parallel programming,researchers have found a new direction to improve the efficiency of radar signal processing.Research results show that a large number of algorithms of radar signal processing have parallel structures,and they can be accelerated efficiently by using GPU.This thesis was completed under the background of achieving the arrry radar signal processing system on GPU,and the concrete content is as follows:1.This thesis introduces the general purpose GPU models,included the basic GPU hardware architectures and CUDA programming model.Then summarizes several basic optimization directions based on CUDA programming model.2.This thesis researches the overall framework of the array radar signal processing system and determines the system flow.Then the corresponding algorithms and the detailed realization procedures of each system module are designed according to the project demand.Moreover,the proposed algorithms are realized on CPU by C programming.Finally,each module is verified by the MATLAB simulation data,as to complete the entire software system on CPU.3.This thesis focuses on the GPU implementation of the array radar signal processing system.Firstly,the parallel structure of each module algorithm is analyzed,based on which the parallel algorithms design of each module is completed.Then,the algorithms are implemented on GPU by CUDA programming,and the correctness of each module is verified by the simulation data.By comparing the processing speed of CPU,the GPU performance and the constraints of each module are analyzed,based on which corresponding optimization solutions are proposed.Finally,the measured data are used to verify that the system can correctly process the radar echo data,and the speed-up ratio of the GPU system in this experiment platform can reach 104 times,which presents a good acceleration effect.4.The software debugging of the whole array radar signal processing system is completed,and the results of this system are given.The results show that the system can stably observe the target trajectory,which meets the system requirements.
