On China’s Copyright Price Formation Mechanism

The price of copyright is matters in the copyright transaction,it plays a guiding role for the market.Sound copyright price formation mechanism is conducive to balance the interests between author,disseminator and consumer,promote the development of copyright industry.The formation mechanism of copyright price refers to the factors that affect the copyright price and the relationship between them.Such as the copyright value and market supply can influence the price.Under the common role of government and markets,copyright price is gradually formed after copyright value assessment and trade negotiations.In this process,the defect of the government and the market subjects,which lead to chaotic,the polarization trend of copyright price is obvious.The complexity of the network environment exacerbated this trend.It is imperative to find out the rules and perfect the formation mechanism of copyright price.Based on the brief introduction of the concept of copyright,copyright price and copyright price formation mechanism,this paper discusses the formation mechanism of copyright price in China from three aspects.Firstly,the subjects and behavior of the copyright price formation.Secondly,the factors that influence the formation of copyright price.Thirdly,the relationship between the various elements of copyright price formation mechanism.Only by rationalizing the relationship between the government and market,author and disseminator can make it coordinate operation.In summary,this paper put forward some proposals to improve the copyright price formation mechanism,via perfecting the government price regulation,regulating the market subjects’ behavior,innovating the evaluation method of copyright value and building copyright information management system.
