With the rapid development of information technology and the Continuous development of industrial manufacturing technology,the weapons has become more and more complex and they are not just some simple mechanical any more,intelligent,higher precision and stronger firepower is the main characteristics of modern weapons.The increasing complexity of the weapon system is also increasing the demand for the support capabilities of the support forces.In order to complete the more complex maintenance tasks,no matter systematic and reasonable plans,dedicated security equipment or professional support personnel are all essential.A systematic evaluation of the support capability can be very useful for helping the support forces to make better adjustments about the allocation of their support resources.Although people have realized the importance of equipment support for the combat performance of equipment and put forward a variety of evaluation methods to evaluate the support capability of an support army,including multivariate statistical theory,uncertainty theory,multi-attribute method,Data mining methods,cross-disciplinary assessment method etc.but in fact,a lot of support forces,the evaluating of the ability to support only stay in the theoretical stage,and even the resource management systems are still in a very backward state.In addition,the great difference between the services of the support forces also led to a fact that one unit are so difficult to use a relevant unit?s system to do their own jobs.In this paper,we will carry out the development of equipment support capability evaluation system for the actual needs of a equipment support force and the development will adopt C/S structure and use C# as the main development language.The main job of this paper will include :(1)finish the detailed calculation of the index system.(2)develop a subsystem that can model the support capability by index system based on AHP and Entropy method and finish the calculating.(3)give reasonable optimization recommendations about staffing by comparing the minimum requirements of people for maintenance unit and the real people that needed by the all weapons equipped.(4)develop a subsystem that will do the all resource management job well.In the process of software development,we strictly comply with the relevant norms to ensure that the system will be stable and efficient.After the development is finished,we carried on a lot of test on the system to make sure that the system will work as we hoped and the results meet expectations.As so far,the initial version of the system has been used and the feedback is good.
