Design And Implementation Of Art Museum Management System

The art museum is a place of collectint,managinh and displaying national art treasures and exchanging the cultures[1].Art Museum has a large collection of valuable works of art,the work of the information recording and management of these works is very important.In order to simplify work of the information management to the art,to reduce the workload to staff in the museum and improve the working quality of staff in the same time,this design will combine the computer technology to design and development an art museum management system for artworks.The art museum management system wil mainly achieve the the main contents of the four modules which are the management to the basic information,the management to the authors,the management to the work's direction and the management system users.The management to artwork information will be divided into work category management and work library management.Users will be able to view the collection of all works of art in the library information,the system will support the user to seek the artworks in the museum through several conditions.The management to the authors is to manage the information of those authors who has works collected in the museum,users can get the authors' information like the contact information by it,and the users can also look over an author's all the works in the museum.The management to the work's direction will mainly realize the record and management of the collection,the library,the loss and the damage.The management to the users will realize the management of staff information and the management of the system users.Because of that we should record the relevant person to the artworks while inbounding and outbounding,so the work of recording the staff's information is very important,we can find the artwork's responsible person very quickly through the system.System users will be divided into ordinary users and administrators.Ordinary users can use the system to manage the basic information of artworks,the authors of the artworks,the whereabouts of the artworks and the staff's information,we can also modify our basic information and the login password.In addition to the administrator user can perform the permissions of ordinary users can also view,add,modify and delete other users' information.Art museum management system will be a B/S architecture of the system,users can log on and use the system through the browser page.In the system developmenttechnology,the design and development will use J2 EE technology and MVC framework,using My Eclipse 8.5 as the development tool of the design,the development environment will be JDK 7,the system environment will be Windows 7.In the database,the design and development will use the Oracle database.Oracle database system is a highly efficient and reliable solution to the database with high throughput.
