Willow intwining is an old-line and multi-variety traditional industry. It has a consummate technics and is famous all over the world. However, in traditional designning a nice and ingenious shape relies on the artist's nice designning. The willow knitter will make the sample through intwining by the artist's designning. Then according to the sample the artist determine how to modify and perfect his designning. This design mode will take time and energy. While using our software we can carry out the artist's designning in a short time, so the designning can be modified quickly and repeatedly. Thus the work efficiency will be improved. So the product will have a rapid reaction speed about the market, accordingly accommodates to the fierce and rapid change of the market.We create the willow intwining artwork emluator at the platform of Visual C++ with OpenGL, using the theories of Bezier curve and surface and some related , through analyzing and generalizing the shape and texture of the artwork. When changing the willow parameters of the emluator, we can get some frames and textures, thus get different willow intwining artwork. The undermentioned are the main steps of emluator:(1) achieve the basic elements and textures by analysing and generalizing the willow intwining artwork's properties.(2) design basic elements using Bezier curve theories and some realted.(3) combine the basic elements by Bezier surface theories and some realted in order to get the connectted elements.(4) determine the linking and compounding mode of the connectted elements, then carry it out at the Visuall C++ platform by programming, thus get the emluator.
