At present,China's museum industry has entered into a new period with a lot of opportunities.For one thing,the deepening reform of the cultural system should be built on a modern public cultural service system,as public spiritual and cultural needs are increasing.Museum is not only an important part of the system but a significant place for national education.For another,culture industry has become the pillar industry of national economy,where museum is an important factor of cultural innovation,playing a great value-added role in culture industry.Talent has become the first thing for enterprises and institutions today.As the first large comprehensive museum in Anhui Province,Anhui Museum always pays more attention to talent construction,but when the external environment has changed intensely,it's necessary to understand the status quo of its human resources and make some adjustments.Firstly,the focus of the research is on the function,function division and individual characteristics of the museum's human resources.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the status quo of the human resources of Anhui Museum through field survey.Finally,it's suggested that museum managers should develop and implement human resources strategic planning for achieving museum's functions,based on modern enterprise human resource management theory and advanced experience of museums at home and abroad.There are five chapters in this thesis:Chapter One covers the introduction of the favorable environment for museum development,the basic characteristics of the human resources and the situation of the shortage of human resources in museum industry.It also contains the investigation of ICOM and several foreign museums about talent training and the domestic human resources research of museum,as well as research path,research purposes and research methods.In Chapter Two,the thesis analyzes the relationship between the human resources of the museum and the core competence of the museum,and then the relationship between the classification of the functions of the museum's human resources and the functions of museum among fifty-eight selected national first-level museums.Furthermore,some explicit factors have been discussed,including age,educational background,title,technical level,profession,recruitment method,and length of service,which can reflect the structure and quality of museum's human resources.In Chapter Three,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the historical situation and current situation of the human resources of Anhui Museum,and summarizes the pros and cons of the human resources in the quantity,structure,and quality,in terms of functional classification and explicit factors of the human resources in the museum.In Chapter Four,it's suggested that museums develop and implement the human resources strategic planning,covering the quantity,structure,and quality of human resources based on their development goals.Meanwhile,lessons from the domestic and foreign talent construction experience have been utilized to put forward some improved suggestions for Anhui Museum.Chapter Five deals with the conclusion.It is argued that museums should actively cope with the changes of the external environment,and make their own position and clear development goals,then use them as a basis to formulate and implement the human resources strategic planning.However,the content of the research on the human resources of other countries is not enough,the classification of the human resources of the museum is not meticulous,and no specialized research on the volunteer in museum.
