Our country's elementary education curriculum reform are being carried out and implemented among elementary and middle schools. The curriculum resources are an important concept which is raised during the new-round national elementary education curriculum reform. According to spatial distribution's difference, the curriculum resources could be approximately divided into the school's curriculum resources and the extension course resources of related schools, the Natural history museum is the important extension course resources.This article, taking the Northeast Normal University Natural history museum as the main object, tries to investigate and analyze the utilizing of its curriculum resources.This paper mainly adopted the ways of consulting literature, Questionnaire survey and interviewing through the diagnosis to Changchun Elementary and Middle schools'teachers and students, and Northeast Normal University Natural history museum's staff.The investigation discovered that the utilization of the Northeast Normal University Natural history museum curriculum resources that Changchun Urban district's elementary and middle schools make use of is very less. many teachers lack the understanding to curriculum resources of the Natural history museum, and they do not know that they could find the curriculum resources that the teaching needed in the Natural history museum; Or they even do not know how to use the Natural history museum's curriculum resources for developing teaching activity. At the same time, the Natural history museum is not thoroughly to the new curriculum reform and lacks the educational activities which is related to schools'curriculum resources and has higher students'participation.This paper, in view of the survey results , tries to analyze and debate on the curriculum resources' understanding, the present situation of its using and the existing problems about the two aspects between the school and the Natural history museum. Finally, the referential strategies and suggestions that is based on it are put forward for effectively making use of the course resource of the natural history museum .
