Design And Implementation Of Catering Management System For Mobile Terminal

For the catering industry,as a traditional labor intensive industry,it's a problem demanding prompt solution as how to exploit new way of profit growth,improve work efficiency,and control cost,by new technology.Based on the business mode of the catering industry,by using the computer technology,network technology,and mobile terminal technology to build the information management platform,we can not only help the completion of work process and improvement in work efficiency,but also find the potential demand of customers and new profit growth point,by analyzing the mass data produced in the operation,which is our original intention to design and build the system.The system adopts the service-oriented architecture design,.NET technology as the key technology for the service end and various business subsystems,and Android technology as the mobile terminal technology.The system is equipped with mobile phone or tablet of Android system,as the mobile terminal substituting the traditional paper menu,to realize registration and login,review and real-time update of dishes and beverages on the mobile terminal by users,completing all business of table laying,dishes ordering,order placing,and service call,etc,through a mobile phone or tablet.Based on the.NET technology and SQL Server as background database,the system realizes six functional models of cashier management,mobile terminal management,member management,financial terminal management,print management,and basic information management.By adopting multi-layered system architecture design,and jointing of WebService technology and mobile terminal,as well as other client subsystems,we can transfer messages by SOAP protocol,realizing data sharing and process unification of business in various subsystems.At the same time,the system accesses the third-party mobile payment platform-Alipay,as a method of electronic payment,to improve the payment efficiency and experience of users;by the information push function,it provides the shop preferential,order notice and other information to the user's e-mail,mobile SMS,and mobile client App,to deeply exploit the users' secondary consumption habit,and increase user viscosity and activity.It's proved by practice that the system achieves certain results in improving the work efficiency in catering management,normalizing the service system in catering industry,and improving the overall service quality and management level,laying a solid technological foundation for scaled operation.
