The Research On The Situation And Developing Countermeasures For The CCTV Law-popularizing Column Show

The TV legal program is a television program which spread with television as its carrier,packaged through the means of media technology and artistic expression for the relative content of law,to spread legal knowledge and improve the legal accomplishment of the audiences.The TV legal program is born with the construction of our country’s progress of law,is the production of the nationwide law dissemination.The aim of its birth is to promote the popularize law education for the general publics,so the function of social education is the essential aim and purpose for the TV legal program.Since the first TV legal program was born in 1985,the growth of the TV legal program has more than thirty years’ history,whose program type is also enriching continuously.The studying object of this paper is the representative of the legal column shows in the TV legal program--Law-popularizing Column Show.As a newer TV legal program,the legal show is a program form which by the restoring and reworking of the true cases in the civilian angle of view,restoring through the actors’ performance,to integrate the abstract legal articles into the story,and through the story to publicize the law.And the biggest difference between the legal column shows and common column shows is that,when constructing the program,it should consider the construction effects of law itself for the legal society at the same time.So,the CCTV Law-popularizing Column Show acts as the research subject of this paper,trying to combine the qualitative methods with the quantitative methods,through the content analysis and in-depth interview to research and analyze its content construction and current situation,and discussed the reason of the problems in the construction and the development strategies for the program.The results show that,the content of the Law-popularizing Column Show appears bright disseminating features,including the rich story contents,representing people’s life,reflecting humanistic care;the style of the host is both professional and people cherishing.But as a legal program,how about the construction of the Law-popularizing Column Show for the legal society and the condition of social crime? Through the content analysis,the author finds that the construction of the program for the reality presents several characteristics below: on the one hand,the story content is rich and the objectionable contents have been checked;But on the other hand,the construction for the reality legal society of the program exists deviation,mainly reflect in the case of attaching great importance to criminal law but look down upon civil law,the subjects of the criminal are not comprehensive.Besides,the overall style of the program shows more entertainment than jurisprudence.One of the method for the program construction of the Law-popularizing Column Show is selection,that is the presenting emphasis selected focus on the criminal cases,but the quantity of civil cases is far more than the criminal cases in the reality society;the presenting characters selected most are adults,citizens and Han race,but the children,countryman and minorities actual are the key objects of law popularizing.The other method is strengthening and weakening,that is strengthening the suspense and conflicts and weakening the objectionable contents.The reason of the problems for the program construction is complicated: by the influence of consumerism,our country’s TV programs lay emphases on the entertainment,and ignore its function of dissemination;The production teams are short of legal accomplishment,lack of professionals.All their reasons cause the problem the Law-popularizing Column Showplaces more emphases on the entertainment and lacking of jurisprudence.The author think that the Law-popularizing Column Show should pay more attention on the aspects of broadening report materials,digging deeper,improving the legal accomplishment of the practitioners,bilateral interaction and adding the linkage mechanism with the related departments,improving the jurisprudence of the program form different aspects,bring into full play the education function of the program.
