PROFIBUS(Process Field Bus)is an international,open-ended,not dependent on the device manufacturer's field bus standard.PROFIBUS has become the most successful and the most popular kind of fieldbus with its technical integrity,reliability,maturity and applications.It has been widely used in the field of manufacturing automation,process automation,industrial buildings,transportation and electric power.As next-generation mobile communication technology,4G(the fourth generation of mobile communications technology)has the advantages of higher communication rate,a wider network spectrum,lower time-delay,etc.With the characteristics of high bandwidth,all IP,low delay,4G promote the development of Io T(Internet of Thing),cloud computing,and other emerging industries.4G mobile communication is one of the outstanding communication technology in the next few years,and its application in the industrial field has attracted much attention.Seamless interconnection with industrial control network and mobile network has been a research hotspot and 4G technology makes it possible.Based on the in-depth study and analysis of the network structure and network protocol of PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus network and 4G mobile network,which are two kinds of heterogeneous networks,this paper proposes an embedded gateway method to realize seamless connection of these two heterogeneous networks,and the protocol conversion model and protocol conversion method are designed,to achieve the purpose of remote monitoring the equipment on the PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus through the ubiquitous 4G mobile network.The PROFIBUS-DP field bus is connected to the 4G communication module via a gateway,uploading the field bus data to the cloud server through the 4G communication module,and then the PROFIBUS-DP field devices can be viewed and controlled on the Android client.In terms of system security,taking into account the security of the PROFIBUS-DP industrial network's access to the mobile internet through the embedded gateway,the data encryption algorithm based on AES 128 bit is proposed after studying the existing general security encryption method.This project uses Altera's Cyclone IV series EP4CE6E22C8 chip as the core processor,associated with Quartus II 11.0 and Nios II IDE eclipse softwares to realize the construction of the entire hardware system.4G communication module uses HUAWEI's ME909s-821 LTE module,coupled with China Mobile's 4G SIM card.The software system is divided into three parts: protocol conversion and data communication functions are realized on the Quartus II software platform;Android clients is developed on the Android Studio platform,providing a friendly visual interface for querying and controlling the field devices;the server part uses the cloud server Ali cloud launched by Alibaba company and the server architecture uses Nginx server + Django-based Web application framework + Mongo DB database,to provide faster response,more efficient,more suitable for industrial control network background service support.In this study,the designed gateway was simulated and tested,the result showed that the embedded gateway system with FPGA as controller can realize the protocol conversion and data transmission between the two heterogeneous networks.The development of the server and Android client fulfill the purpose of fast,convenient,and real-time remote monitoring the devices on the PROFIBUS-DP bus through mobile 4G network,with the advantages of high flexibility,fast and efficient and high security.
