Greenhouse plays an important role in the development of modern agriculture.It can reduce the impact of external environment on crops,create suitable environment for crop growth,and improve the quality and yield of agricultural products.With the continuous development of information technology,wireless sensor technology has been applied to the field of greenhouse environment monitoring,greenhouse environment information can be tested by sensor,after that,they are sent via wireless network.Remote real-time monitoring of greenhouse environment can be realized by using these technologies,which can promote the development of modern agriculture to digital,networked and intelligent direction.Because the traditional greenhouse gateway has the problem of low degree of data visualization,poor cross platform access ability,bad on-site interactivity and so on.It can't meet the development requirements of modern greenhouse.Based on this,an embedded greenhouse environment monitoring gateway based on Android is proposed in this paper,the main contents are as follows:(1)Overall design of the greenhouse monitoring gateway system.After analyzing the function and performance requirements of the system,ARM processor is selected as the hardware development platform,and the embedded Android system is used as the software platform.Three-layer architecture which consists of data acquisition layer,data processing and forwarding layer and application layer is designed based on the thought of hierarchical design.(2)Hardware circuit design of the greenhouse monitoring gateway system.The gateway hardware takes Samsung Corp Exynos4412 processor as the core.In order to obtain the greenhouse environment parameters,ZigBee coordinator interface circuit has been designed to collect the ZigBee sensor's data.In order to ensure the safety of the system,GPRS interface circuit has been designed to send alarm information about the greenhouse.In order to expand functions of the system,USB interface circuit has been designed to connect the camera and other peripherals.In order to realize remote monitoring,the Ethernet interface circuit has been designed to let the gateway have remote access capabilities.In order to accomplish local interaction,LCD interface circuit has been designed to support on-site operation.(3)Software designed of the greenhouse monitoring gateway system.The system's software is consists of three parts: data processing and forwarding program,client application,and embedded Web server program.Data processing and forwarding program is the core of software system.It can automatically identify,parse and forward data transferred in gateway.It shields the difference between hardware interfaces of the underlying layer and provides a unified interface for obtaining greenhouse environmental data.The client application based on C/S architecture is developed on Android system,it contains some essential functions,which are user management and login,real-time data acquisition,historical data viewing,video monitoring,gateway node topology viewing,gateway parameter setting,alarm information and so on.And it has realized multi-user remote real-time greenhouse environment monitoring.The embedded Web server is based on B/S architecture,JavaScript and HTML are used to design Web and PHP language is taken to develop Web server.It can provide greenhouse monitoring services for users across the platform and improves the applicability of the system.(4)Greenhouse monitoring gateway system test.The functions of the system have been tested on Android and Web browser respectively.The gateway packet loss rate,response time,concurrency and video frame rate are also tested to verify whether the system can meet the design and use requirements.The test results show that the gateway system can achieve multi-user remote real-time monitoring and monitor the state of the sensor.It has a high level of data visualization,strong alarm capacity and good on-site interaction ability.The system runs stable and reliable,the function and performance meet the design requirements.It can monitor the state of the greenhouse effectively and has a certain value of application.
