In recent years,with the rapid development of national economy in our country,the development of general airline business is speeding up.As the same time,airport security problems become the top priority of the airport development,and the airport fire is one of the main factors influencing the airport security.Therefore,to seek for a cost-efficient and secure training approach to train airport firefighters has become an urgent point.Fire simulator is the specific application of advanced technology such as virtual reality in the field of fire,it provides a new way for fire training and solves the problem of poor repeatability,long period of updating,high risk in traditional training.At present,in domestic and foreign,the application of virtual reality technology in the field of fire such as fire command strategy,fire rescue decision,psychological ability training has made some achievements,but airport fire truck simulator is relatively less for its particularity.In addition,most current fire truck simulator have the problem of poor reality of human-machine interaction and low verisimilitude of virtual fire scene,which couldn't provide firefighter for enough immersion and cause poor training effect.Topic from State Administration of Production Safety Supervision and Manage ment project “the development of virtual emergency drill system based on distr ibuted cooperation”,set up the hardware platform for an airport fire truck as t he prototype,set up the fire simulator software system based on virtual reality and other advanced technology,simulate and generate the system of fire truck simulation integrating visual,auditory and tactile.The main content of dissertati on include:First of all,relying on the hardware of laboratory's existing special vehicle simulator,modified the throttle,brakes,console and other main components,and then complete the overall hardware design.Using object-oriented hierarchical design method,set up the overall framework of virtual simulator engine integrating the system of dynamic calculating,virtual scene,stereo.Secondly,complete the operation environment 3d modeling based on real world scenarios and real terrain elevation data.Simulate the mean wind field according to the wind velocity profile function,simulate the stochastic wind field through numerical linear filtering,this paper established natural wind field.Analyzing the motion law of fire water column in the effect of gravity,wind,the air friction,established realistic models of the fire water column.Based on particle system simulation technology,simulate the fire water column.Analyzing the interaction law of fire water droplets with environment,simulate the interactive effect of droplets and environment.Thirdly,selecting the aircraft landing gear as the research object,adopting the method of computational fluid dynamics,based on fire dynamics software Pyrosim,completed the calculation of fire scenario,connected the particles system and texture mapping technology,this paper achieve the realistic simulation of fire scenario of aircraft landing gear.Analyzing the physical law of fire in wind,simulate the interactive effect of fire and wind.Based on bounding box collision detection technology,complete the interactive effect of fire and fire water column.Fourthly,considering the all-weather requirements of fire-fighting operation,and enhance the reality sense of environmental interaction.Modeling to the sky in the sky dome model,based on the vertex shader and considering the influence of atmospheric scattering,complete the simulation of dynamic sky.To visualize the dynamic clouds,the slice-based volume rendering technique is used.Billboard and texture mapping technology are used in this paper to achieve the simulation of sun,moon,stars.On the basic of particle system modeling and texture mapping,then analyses the physical movement law of rain and snow,achieve the simulation of rain and snow.Based on the technology of distance fog,complete the simulation of fog weather.Finally,based on the work above is accomplished,a virtual simulation platform for fire truck simulation of airport is established,and successfully carries on typical simulation tests and analysis,such as the fire water,the gear fire scenario,weather in the process of fire-fighting.What's more,make a test and evaluation for the whole system of fire truck simulator.Using the style of virtuality and reality combination(virtual fire scenario and real manipulation environment),this paper set up a good interaction,high fidelity,strong immersion platform of airport fire simulator,in some ways it could satisfy the requirement of real vehicle training.
