The Comparison Research About Chinese Archival Documentaries In Memory Of The World Program With The Counterparts In Korea

The main object of this research is the archival documentary heritage of the Memory of the World program in China and Korea.This thesis summarizes the characteristics of the Memory of the World program in Korea by analyzing and comparing the current situations of the archival documentary heritage from the two countries.Therefore,the research makes corresponding suggestions for the application of Chinese archival documentaries for this international program.Firstly,this research discusses the objective and meaning,management and procedure,assessment and trial of the Memory of the World program.Meanwhile,the thesis makes a brief introduction about the concept,value and protection of archival documentary heritage.Thus,this study analyzes the current situation of the archival documentary heritage from the two countries based on the definition of archival documentary heritage of the Memory of the World program.The analysis mainly revolves from the aspects of time distribution,carrier components,collection agencies,content construction and value assessment.Secondly,according to the results of current situation analysis of Chinese and Korean archival documentary heritage of the Memory of the World program,the research compares the external form and content construction of the two countries' archival documentary heritage selected in the Memory of the World program.The comparison of external form concentrates on their time distribution,carrier components,collection agencies and nomination form,while the content construction mainly discusses five aspects: religion,etiquette,medicine,history and war.At last,according to the research results of archival documentary heritage of the Memory of the World program in China and Korea,this research summarizes the features of Memory of the World program in Korea: strong realization of applying for World Memory List in Korea,the continuous work of applying for the World Memory,the full preparation for applying for the Memory of the World program and the beneficial surrounding conditions for the related application work.Then the thesis draws the enlightenment for related work in China: raising the awareness of applying for World Memory List in China,focusing on the continuous work of applying for the World Memory program,enhancing the archival documentary preparations for application and carrying out international communications and cooperation referring to the international experiences.
