Gyro-traveling wave tube(Gyro-TWT) as an important microwave signal amplification device,it not only has high power,wide bandwidth,high gain and other characteristics,but also has great potential for development and application prospects,so it will soon become a millimeter wave coherent radiation source priority,mainly used in high-power millimeter-wave radar,high-power microwave weapons,early warning,electronic warfare,controlled thermonuclear fusion and other microwave fields.So it is particularly important to study the high-power and high-voltage pulse power supply system.The traditional high-power and high-voltage pulse power supply is a linear power supply,which is bulky,heavy weight,low efficiency,and serious heat.Compared with the linear power supply,this paper designs a high-power and high-voltage pulsed power supply with phase-shifted full-bridge soft-switching technology.The design parameters are output voltage 60 kV,output current 1.5A,pulse frequency 200 Hz,and pulse width 50?s.It realizes Zero voltage turn-on,reduces the power loss of the switch,and improves the efficiency of the power supply,which makes it the preferred choice for the working power supply of Gyro-TWT.In this paper,the high-power and high-voltage pulsed power supply is designed by adopting the full-bridge converter as the main circuit topology and the phase-shifted resonant control chip UC3875 as the master chip,and the 2SD315 AI is used as the driver chip of the switch tube.This power supply achieves the zero-voltage turn-on of the switch,with undervoltage,overvoltage,overcurrent,short circuit protection and high efficiency.The main work of this paper:1.Design the main circuit of the power supply,calculate the parameters of the component according to the design index of the power supply and select the component model,and then simulate and analyze the simulation result through Pspice software.2.Design the IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)drive circuit,which is designed to use 2SD315 AI chip,test its drive waveform and verify the undervoltage,overcurrent and short circuit protection through experiments.3.Design the high-frequency transformer with the core area product method(also known as AP method).The design flow is as follows:(1)select the core material and model;(2)calculate the window area and effective cross-sectional area of core;(3)calculate the turns of primary winding and secondary winding;(4)calculate the diameter of the primary and secondary winding wires.4.Design the high voltage modulator,which is composed of multiple IGBT series,and the IGBT drive signal is generated by the half-bridge circuit,and output through the magnetic ring coupling,which is not only the isolation of multiple sets of drive signals,but also ensure the consistency of multiple sets of drive signals.The high-power and high-voltage pulse power supply of this project has the advantages of small switching loss,high efficiency,light weight,small volume,adjustable output voltage,good stability and easy control.It is a new type of power supply with wide development prospect.
