The main content of this thesis is about the study on Phase-Shift-PWM high frequency converter and soft-Switch technology for laser power supply. With the developing of laser industry, the Diode Pumped Solid State Laser (DPSSL) is more important. So the power supply for DPSSL is paid attention to by many researcher.Generally, the power supply is composed by pre-circuit and post-circuit. The thesis is centering around the main circuit topology of the pre-circuit, the control circuit, the design of post-circuit, simulation and experiment. And the pre-circuit principle is more important in this paper. The thesis describes the traditional circuit topology of Phase-Shift-PWM converter, and argues the shortcoming of the traditional circuit firstly. And then, the new basic circuit topology of Phase-Shift-PWM converter for laser power supply is detailed. The working procedure of the main circuit is analyzed, the realization of Zero Voltage Switch (ZVS) is proposed. The difference between the new topology and the traditional topology is illustrated. And the design principle of post-circuit is discussed in the thesis. There is a lot of simulation in the thesis, and the simulation is achieved in the software of MATLAB. To get the true simulation results close to the real working condition, all the components are formed using real component parameters. In the base of theoretical and simulation analysis, the thesis introduces the design procedures of laser power supply for DPSSL. The design and selection of parameters are discussed. Some special problems that happened during the course of the power supply design are pointed out, too. In the end of the thesis, the experiment results of laser power supply are given.
