Large sports events is an important part of urban culture and to some extent,it also related to shaping the image of the host city and its future development.So the large sports events has always been the focus of media attention.And media news reports is not only the main channels for the spread of sports information,but also tend to affect the public recognition and evaluation of this city.Besides,city image promotion in addition to expanding the city attractive to large sporting events and news media and improving the citizens' sense of belonging,identity,and a sense of pride,to strengthen spread abroad.Therefore,there is a close relationship between the three.In 1950,the first formula one grand prix to be held in the silverstone circuit,and quickly spread in Europe and other developed capitalist countries.Until 2004,under the joint efforts of the parties,Shanghai finally had the opportunity to undertake such an international top car series because of the economic strength,unique local culture,the residents of the open thought and advanced technology.Many of media pay attention to it,especially for the Shanghai local media such as Jiefang Daily,Xinmin Evening News,Wenhui Daily and so on,they are always paid close attention to the latest news and events.Due to the uniqueness of Shanghai F1 grand prix in China,with the Shanghai city positioning and culture in particular and the spread of media reports,F1 grand prix become not only one of the six big brand competition,but also a business card in Shanghai.It has influence of the spirit of the city image,behavior image and visual image and so on various aspects.This study will tease out Jiefang Daily,Xinmin Evening News and Wehui Daily how to spread the city's image by Shanghai F1 grand prix and its status quo and characteristics.Besides,it will also reveal the closely relationship among the media reports,Shanghai F1 grand prix and city image transmission through the document-data method and text analysis,based on the relative theory of media dissemination and the image of the city,from the five aspects of the event service,the field construction of facilities,media commentary,well-known figures interviews and the activities about F1 grand prix.Not only that,this article will also describe the change and problems of the news reports from Jiefang Daily,Xinmin Evening News and Wehui Daily in force and scope with holding Shanghai F1 grand prix.Moreover,it will analyze the causes of these phenomenon.Based on these deficiency,puts forward some rationalization proposals and solutions.Although F1 grand prix is a large-scale sports event and one of the Shanghai six big brand competition,in China also lacks the necessary technical means and financial support,also does not have unique cultural atmosphere,car mass base is very weak.So if we want to better spread the city's image by F1 grand prix in Shanghai,we even more need the help of media,especially the power of the local mainstream media to promote and implement.Finally,hope this research can provide valuable advice to solve the above problem and reference.Besides,provide the necessary for relatedresearch ideas and material.
