In recent years,under the impetus of three technological trends of networking,digitalization and mobility,people's reading style is undergoing a revolutionary change."Listening",this new way of reading,helps people fully pick up the pieces of the time,liberates the tired eyes under the pressure of modern life,provides another convenient way for people to read.The platforms,which are used as the carriers of audiobooks,are supported by the Internet and they link up the manufactors in the upstreams and the audiences in the downstreams of the industrial chain.Through the integration of the audiobook industry resources and market resources,the audiobook platforms have changed the way of the propagation of the audiobook.At the same time,the platforms have made a series of changes in content production,distribution,technology income and so on.They have profoundly changed the market format of the audiobook industry.This paper takes Chinese audiobook platforms as the main research object,and summarizes the causes,development procedure and characteristics of the platforms.This paper analyzes the existing problems of the audiobook platforms in China from three angles of profit,content and copyright.On the basis of summarizing the successful experience of the "Himalaya FM" platform,this paper puts forward the concrete countermeasures for the development of Chinese audiobook platforms.This article uses the literature analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis methods for analysis and demonstration.The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter lists the definitions of audiobooks and Internet platforms which are given by scholars and authoritative organizations.Then,combining with my own understanding,it gets the concept of audiobook platforms.The second chapter summarizes the cause,development procedure and characteristics of the audiobook platforms.This chapter concludes that the emergence of audiobook platforms in China is the result of the promotion of mature technical conditions and the contradiction between supply and demand.The third chapter sums up and points out the problems existing in the platforms.The fourth chapter takes "Himalaya FM" platform as a typical case,and analyzes the successful experience of its content production,business realization,copyright protection and so on.In the fifth chapter,the author puts forward the possible solutions according to the problems of the audiobook platforms.Chinese audiobook platform is still a new rising thing,facing opportunities and challenges at the same time.The problems of the copyright,profit and content cannot be ignored.From the perspective of serving for multilateral groups,the platforms should establish the industry order through improving the related legal norms,strengthening supervision and playing the self-discipline;enhance content through segmenting the market,supporting professionals and strengthening the guard;increase their income through innovative advertisments,value-added services and payments for premium content.
