In the 1950s,learning the experience of Soviet archival education was an important starting point for the higher education of archives in New China.New China relied on Soviet experts and the Renmin University of China to learn the experience of Soviet archival education.Starting from the establishment of specialized archival classes,the higher education system of Archival Science in New China was gradually established.Russia's archival education has an early origin,advocates the concept of lifelong education,has a distinct educational system,and attaches importance to the reform of archival education to meet the needs of the country's political and economic development.After more than one hundred years of development,a set of distinctive archival education system has been formed,Demonstrated the superiority of its educational model.However,Soviet still has some weaknesses and disadvantages,such as unobvious cross-discipline integration of library and information and archives,unstable development mode,and insufficient internationalization,which affect the long-term development of archival education in Russia.Constructing a modern education system that serves the lifelong learning of all people,enhancing my country's vocational education service capabilities and higher education competitiveness,and forming a new pattern of education governance with extensive participation from all walks of life in society are important development goals of China's education modernization proposed by our country.Strengthening the exchange and reference of international archives education is a positive measure in response to China's educational modernization.It is not only helpful to raise the understanding of foreign archival education,but also can learn from it and use it for our country.This article concentrate on the Russian archival education,introduces its development history,analyzes its characteristics and shortcomings,and draws useful enlightenment for the development of archives education in China.There are four chapters in this thesis.The first chapter considers the background and meaning of the topic,analyzes the research results of archival education,recommends the research substance and research ways of the article,and conducts the innovations the summary.The second chapter recount the development history of Russian archival education.It discusses the tradition of early Russian archival education,the creation of modern Russian archival education,the establishment and scale of modern Soviet archives archival education,and the transformation and development of contemporary Russian archival education.It discusses the background and motivation of the development of archives education in different stages,and summarizes the development results in different stages.The third chapter focuses on analysis the realistic characteristics of Russian archival education,including five aspects:professional orientation,regional layout,systematic development,open education,and diversified teaching.At the same time,it pointed out the shortcomings and deficiencies in the Russian archival education model.The fourth chapter compares the characteristics and differences of education concepts,system levels,teachers,teaching methods,etc.between China and Russia,and grasps their respective advantages and disadvantages,and then provides some references for the long-term development of archives education in our country.
