Design And Implement Of Oracle Billing Insight System For The Blind

With the rapid development of the Internet,people's life becomes more convenient.However,advanced informationalized platform does not provide conveniece to the blind,but adds them more difficulties.The more flashed the web is,the harder for the blind to use.It is an urgent problem that all online web application need to be fixed,especially popularly used billing system.Nowadays,the old manually offline billing mode has been gradually upgraded into online billing system.Users can manage their bills through the web instead of taking a number to wait at the counter,which largely saves the time of both users and clerks and prevents the occurrence of manual errors,lost or damage of the bills in mailing process.Furthermore,electronic bill,which is a paperless office style,protect our environment.However,developers of online billing system didnot concern the blind are also their customers,their product is not developed concerning accessibility.The blind still have to go to the counter for any billing business.Rapid development of informatization weakens their confidence in accepting and fitting in the modern life.Equally and specially,the blind have the right to use informationalized platform and fit in the modern life.Oracle Billing Insight for the blind is designed and implemented to solve the problem that the blind cannot use online billing system.With the help of Oracle Billing Insight,which allows users to search and pay bills,this thesis discusses how to design and implement a system supporting accessibility.In order to provide the blind with online service,this system is developed considering accessibility.In this way,the blind can receive all the information,which sighted users can get directly or indirectly from the system,with a screen reader.This process will not make any changes from before for sighted users.The use of Maven,SSH,continuous integration,load balancing,reversed proxy and monitor and alarm system contributes a highly available,strong flexible,highly extensible billing system which also has the alarm function.Successful design and development is a good solution of the inconvenience of offline billing procedure,of most existing problems to use online billing system for the blind.The system has been on-line and successfully used in many companies in America and been highly praised.It not only provides convinience to users,life,but also improves quality-of-life index of the blind.
