| The university cable resources are an important part of campus network infrastructure. As the rapid development of campus network, the number of cables increases continually. Due to the difference of laying ages and the complexity of identifications, especially the situation that optical cables is mostly buried underground, it brings mangers great difficulty. In order to allocate fiber resources and provide references for continuous construction, the current urgent management problems are fully grasping the distribution of campus cables, exactly located the campus cable and knew the utilization of cable resources of campus network.The mature of the electronic map makes it possible for universities to establish visible fiber resources management system. Baidu Map API is a set of free application program interface based on map service which could satisfy requirements of Web application system on the basis of Baidu map API. Base on background of Baidu map API, under the Apache+PHP+MySQL development environment, a set of visual management information system of campus cable resources was developed. With this system, the query of cable resources and cable deployment was realized, the visual management such as endpoint annotation of cable, the query of cable, add and delete of endpoint of cable was also realized. Not only can accurately locate the distance between the physical location of campus cable and building, which could break through the limitations of the traditional paper-based management, but also extend the cable resources management to the outside of campus with the integrality of geographic information of Baidu map, providing possibility for the whole network connection of cable data. Which is also an effectual way to promote the construction of intelligent campus, and to supply intelligence sense and intelligent service. Providing reference for the construction of all sorts of management platforms based on geo-information system. |
