This thesis puts forward an intelligent campus equipment management system based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), which makes use of the RFID character and can clearly grasp the equipment’s real situation and status. In additional, the manager also can works efficiently and grasp the equipment’s utilization.The intelligent campus equipment management system based on RFID can transmit the real situation to the manager’s computer or PDA by wireless or cable network. And all correlative information will be recorded to database simultaneously. Furthermore, the real information will not only be browsed by single manager, but also several managers.The problem of improving the campus equipment’s utilization is the category of NP-Complete problem (Non-deterministic Polynomial-Complete problem). At the same time, in order to find the optimum solution to solve the NP-Complete problem in limited time, this article will separately adopts the simulated annealing algorithm to enhance the efficiency of searching feasible solution focusing the campus equipment’s utilization. The experiment shows that the effect of simulated annealing algorithm is better than random number algorithm, In other words, the simulated annealing algorithm can be applied to intelligent campus equipment management system to improve the equipment’s utilization.
