With the global commercial aPPlication of 4G network technology,FTTx penetration is rapidly improving,and the demand for communication cable junction box occupying an important position in the FTTx network system shows explosive growth demand.Because of huge scale investment and long payback period of FTTx network construction,joint box used in the net is required to cost lowly,have strong strength,long service life as long as 25 years.Currently,the joint box using the ordinary PP material to produce is difficult to meet all these characteristics at the same time.As a result,maintenance cost is always high.By analyzing the current research status of the PP materials and the aPPlication environment of the communication cable junction box,and deep research of the specific use of the environment of communication cable junction box,The article selected two kinds of PP material which Modified And Reinforced By Glass Fiber of glass fiber(30%)--PP+GF-CQ-3,PP-G4H812-anti UV as basic materials,and adjusted the proportion of glass fiber adding in the material to 20% and 40%,then injection molding of these materials individualiy.Determine the optimum proportion of glass fiber after testing and analysis of the injection molding products.In the process of injection molding experiment repeated adjustment process parameters,recorded temperature,screwing injection pressure,holding pressure,injection time,packing time,cooling time and other parameters,so the optimal combination of process parameters is presented in the article will can be provided as reference for the actual productionIn addition,the end product of joint box are cut into standard shapes with a laser.Then the aging experiment for 1000 hours and 2160 hours,experiments for 7 days in a row of 70 C water are carried out.The data before and after the experiment of spline material aPPearance,tensile strength,impact strength,elongation,bending modulus and bending strength are recorded.Through the analysis result of the experiments,the made joint box performance fully meet the requirements.The comprehensive analysis is made through combination of all factors such as materials cost,material performance,use environment,and it is found that communication cable connector box produced by PP+GF-CQ-3 glass fiber reinforced PP material is suitable to be used in the pipeline and directly buried installation environment,made byPP-G4H812-anti UV glass fiber enhanced PP material is suitable to be used in overhead installation environment.
