In view of the fact that the number of exhibition halls in traditional physical museums can not meet the needs of the actual collection, the exhibits exhibit a loose nature and can not meet the demands of the audience. The limitation of time and space can not reach the public and other limitations. Using the virtual reality technology based on Unity3D and based on the Ethnic Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, this paper builds a virtual museum display system platform which can exchange and transmit real-time data. It can promote the clothing museum industry to enter the intelligent and technology field more quickly.This paper studies the technical characteristics of virtual reality technology and its research status at home and abroad in the construction of virtual museum. Designed and implemented a virtual garment exhibits database, and designed and implemented a unified interface between the server and the client to realize the data interaction and data hierarchical management of the client and the server. Finally, the system test is carried out on the virtual display system platform of the clothing museum. The test result shows that the system platform realizes the design requirement analysis.
