Research And Implementation Of Online Virtual Museum Based On VR

This paper combines the actual business needs of a party history museum to research and implement an online virtual museum system based on VR(Virtual Reality).The realization of virtual museum uses VR technology,human-computer interaction technology and LOD technology,etc.,uses JavaScript and C# language,Unity3 D development tools and Mono Develop compiler.The main functions implemented include human-computer interaction,virtual roaming and collision detection.Human-computer interaction supports users to interact with exhibition halls and exhibits in a virtual museum.Virtual roaming allows users to choose different roaming methods to visit the exhibition hall.Collision detection detects and prevents collisions between objects in the virtual pavilion.Based on the existing collision detection algorithms,this paper studies and designs an optimized collision detection algorithm and applies it in a virtual environment.It improves the real-time and accuracy of collision detection in the virtual museum,achieves good interaction with users,and provides a certain degree of entertainment while providing information dissemination.The virtual Party History Museum developed in this paper breaks the limitations of physical museums,expands the functions of museums to the greatest extent,and meets the needs of many levels and aspects of society.It effectively protects cultural relics on the basis of promoting the spread and sharing of material culture,which is an urgent need for cultural construction in the information age,and at the same time provides theoretical and technical support for further research on the virtual pavilion system.
