Design And Application Of IT Operation And Monitoring System For ARP

In recent years, with the continuous development and improvement of the IT system, operation and monitoring of IT system software and hardware platform has turned into the problem which all walks of life focus on gradually, it has risen to the same level as construction of IT system, its quality and efficiency directly affects the functioning and efficiency to many companies. The main research of paper is how to achieve the monitoring for the ARP system of Chinese Academy of Sciences, how to create an efficient and lightweight operation and monitoring platformBy analyzing IT operation and monitoring system which come from home and abroad, the in-depth studying of the key technologies to achieve monitoring and making full use of Nagios monitoring platform which contains opening source, this paper has completed the basic performance monitoring for host of ARP in 130 institutes. IT monitoring system does not have the monitoring indicators, such as monitoring of the disk arrays, monitoring of the data backup and monitoring of the bad data block on the market, but this paper has a research for this and explores some monitoring tools. It studies the core business of ARP system deeply, and customizes monitoring methods for the data exchange, the upgrade of ARP, the data extraction of IRC. It has designed a operation and monitoring system for ARP of Chinese Academy of Sciences.Practice results show that IT operation and monitoring system has achieved the target of the overall monitoring for Chinese Academy of Sciences ARP system at the two levels. It provides some of monitoring tools and technical methods for the core business of ARP system, change the situation which contains the loose condition of IT operation and maintenance each institutes, the diversity of monitoring software, and the uneven levels of operation and maintenance for system administrators.
