Media Features In The Black And White Woodcut Illustration And The Language Of Art

As a traditional design method,grid systems silently serve all kinds of planar or non-planar media all the time.Grid systems have been important to modern information design since it came into being.With the development of global economy,the design is much more demanding than ever before.Grid systems and information design have developed through the ages and economy.Besides,they have been closely linked to each other.The thesis not only briefly describes the respective evolution process of grid systems and modern information,but also analyzes and summarizes their integration process.The thesis tries to explore their relationship and influence in order to theoretically sort out the application of grid systems in modern information.In the meanwhile,the thesis thoroughly define the building of grid systems in information design with two examples.The thesis is finished by means of literature research,generalization and case analysis.It has six chapters,chapter 1:The introduction part is not only analyzes the paper's structural frameworks and contents,but also the background of this research,the status of research at home and abroad and the aim and meaning of the study.Chapter 2 is a general overview of some concepts,including grid systems' classification and origin,information design and the forms of modern information.Chapter 3 elaborates the integration of grid systems and information design and then summarizes the features in the process.Chapter 4 analyzes their relationship and influence.Chapter 5 analyzes the building and application of grid systems in modern information with examples.Chapter 6 draws a final conclusion from the lots of analysis and exploration in the preceding section.The innovation embody in two aspects:firstly is the analysis of integration between grid systems and modern information design;secondly is the reflection on grid systems' building in information design.By analyzing their connection and difference,the paper finds that the existence of grid systems in information design is because of their overlapping and interaction.We perhaps may obtain some enlightenment through summary of these relationships,which may be helpful to future design work.
