Design And Implementation Of Inter - Bank Reconciliation System

As an ordinary system in bank, Nostro Account system is created to handle interbank account reconciliation. According to the demands of user department, development team adopted the independent development way to start the project. The workflow is to reconcile between SWFT(Worldwide Interbank telecommunication regulations of message transmission) message and our bank message in order to extremely achieve reconciliation automatically. The system regard swift data as their account, and our bank accounts as our data. through the collection, swift data storage, and all special way of matching accounts, saving remain accounts, exporting weekly and monthly report, users can complete business by PC and also it will output data which the latter system need. Mean as while it provide a function to recover data when the system meet disaster.With the developing of information automatication in china and the amount of business in recent years, manual work is unable to meet the need of reconciliation workflow. For foreign bank it is more important to get well praise. So how to use bank resource well, how to optimize the reconciliation workflow, how to establish a complete set of Union Pay reconciliation system. This is the main problem in front of us.In this paper, the design is based on demand of Interbank reconciliation, according to the reconcile workflow, considering of the demand among the related department, the system is consist of all modules, including swift module used by communication department, reconciliation module used by financial department, the confirmation of bills module used by operation department, staff management module used by IT department and so on.Technically speaking, using B/S architecture[2] is beneficial to the operation of various departments of the bank, through ASP.NET[ 3], it can achieve quick development. Because others outside system is basically architect ed by sql-server and reconciliation data only preserve for 3 years, so it is reasonable to choose sql-server as system database.In design, in order to solve the problem about source, we choose Win Form program to automatictly read data. Only in this way it can allow the user to focus more on the business processing. It can be convenient for user to reconcile with colleagues and rollback processing by using temporary table. It Also use other basic table of some upstream business systems(e.g., customer information, account information, transaction type, etc.), it will be easy to generate complex reports, and give good supporting for the user’s daily work, and also for the idea of paperless.
