The research focuses on the companies that produce educational robots for young children and teach classes using robots,and takes it as a field to tackle how meaning production of new selves,new future,and new nation is done.Governmentality,that is to conduct the behaviour of selves and others,is a complex phenomenon that uncovers the intricate power relations and their production.I argue that through a concept of"potentiality",which is inherent and structuring for the domain of education for small children and robots,power works by structuring the possible field of actions of selves.
