The Survey On Current Situation Of Domestic Children TV Programs' Educational Value

The television,considered as the most important information propagation mode,has played more and more important roles in people's daily life.Because of its high penetration rate and intense sense stimulation,TV program influences the baby a lot.Compared with the other age stage's children,the baby could spend more time in watching TV.Thus,whether the TV program conducts positive effect on children depends on the quality and educational value of the programs directly.This research has discussed educational value and influence factors of the current baby television programs,and also proposed the countermeasure to enhance the educational value of the baby television program from the pedagogy angle.In this research,we selected various programs of CCTV children channel,which are suitable for the pre-school,as the study object.The material collection period is from August to September 2008.Carries on the quantification analysis using the content analytic method to three month-long baby television programs,Auxiliary watches the baby television program by the method of inspection and the interview law to the baby the situation to carry on the understanding,The union archery target research completes to the baby television program educational value present situation investigation.The research mainly follows two master lines:First,through analyzing the baby programs quantitatively,we summarized whether these programs reflected educational value and how much the value is.Second,though inducing the factors that cause the current baby television programs present low educational value,we proposed effective strategies to promote the baby program educational value.The current domestic baby TV programs are mainly divided into the animated cartoons and the baby educational television programs.Our investigation indicated that the humorous animated cartoon exhibits high educational value;the hero animated cartoon,often filled with violence,does not favor the baby's healthy development;most preaching animated cartoon is tasteless and can't arouse the baby's interest.Incorporated with its adult inclination and the baby's low participation, the baby educational TV programs also show great intellectual nature and conform to the baby's cognition characteristic.The factors,such as pursuit of audience rate,catering to the baby's unreasonable demands,low educational quality of the baby TV program worker and the needs of parents are not the needs of children's cause the low educational value of the baby TV program. Finally,according to the results of our investigation,the effective suggestion were proposed.
