Ammonia is a toxic chemical material,which is widely used in industrial production.And it is explosive when mixed with oxygen.However,in the industrial environment,the leaking of ammonia can trigger a series of serious safety accidents owing to the poor management,the aging equipment,the corroded pipeline,and the loose valve.Therefore,the real-time detection of ammonia leakage is of great importance.Taking a certain thermal power plant in shandong as an example,this paper explored the potential danger in the thermal power plant,and then designed a suitable ammonia monitoring system for thermal power plant.This paper,in combination with the engineering background of the thermal power plant,determines the overall design of the detection system,which consists of testing terminals,wireless transmission,and system software of testing center.This paper designs sensor signal to pick up circuit,and condition circuit by MQ137 ammonia gas sensor.Then through A/D transform to the MSP430F149 processor,ammonia concentration data is obtained by analysis and processing of these data.On this basis,the ammonia concentration data is sent to the monitoring center by wireless communication.Due to the concentration detection and management software system of ammonia,which can store concentration of ammonia in the database,the curve display of real-time ammonia concentration,the threshold alarming and the query of historical data can be achieved.In order to meet the need of site monitoring,analytic hierarchy process is employed in the data analysis,and decision analysis is also carried out on the multipoint alarm.The system not only can satisfy the engineering requirement of ammonia monitoring in thermal power plant,but also is of great value for reference in other engineering fields,which has a good market prospect.
