Today, with the rapid development of Web applications, more and moreapplications change from the original C/S (Client/Server) mode to B/S(Browser/Server) mode. The requirements that users want the Web application’sreal-time communication are also increasing. Many applications require theserver-side taking the changes initiatively transmitted to the client in real-time,without the need that client initiated a HTTP request. Therefore, Web-basedreal-time information push technology came into being.Web real-time information push technology in plant’s production processmonitoring has a broad application prospects and development prospects. Currentlyin the actual production of power enterprises, the majority of real-time monitoringsystems are based on C/S mode, namely client/server model. Power plant staffneeds to install and configure corresponding application software on the clientmachine, to understanding of site operation fully. And the client software isassociated with operating system, and has high requirements with the systemhardware. The client software system maintainability is poorer, the upgrade is notconvenient. So in order to solve the real-time monitoring system of C/S mode of theabove shortcomings, people put forward the real-time monitoring system based onB/S mode.The background of this paper, is the development of the actual productionprocess of a power plant running status monitoring. It is proposed in this paper thatthe development and research topic of based on B/S mode of power plantproduction process monitoring system. In this thesis,research work have beencarried out as follows:First, it has carried on the detailed research and analysis for the Web real-timeinformation push technology, Including WebSocket technology in HTML5, Comettechnology and Ajax polling. By comparing the several kinds of real-timeinformation push technology principle and working methods, we obtained theadvantages and disadvantages of each technique and application of occasions. Then, the paper studies the JMS (Java Message Service) architecture, and someof the basic concepts of JMS. This paper analyzes using ActiveMQ as a JMSmessaging provider to implement JMS asynchronous message mechanism andmessage persistence purposes.Finally, the article achieves real-time Web communications by combine theWebSocket and JMS technologies. Fundamentally, the article implements serveractive push data problems, reduced the load on the server, save the networkbandwidth resources, improve the real-time performance, stability and reliability ofthe monitoring system.
