With the advance of the global smart grid construction,the construction of smart grid in Chinese urban and rural areas has developed rapidly and the updating of the traditional watt-hour meter makes the usage of intelligent watt-hour meter increase continuously.At the same time,the "centralized verification,unified distribution" of the watt-hour meter verification and distribution model is gradually becoming the management standard.It is a great challenge for the traditional artificial verification mode to centralized and mass verification mode.And it urges us to adopt modern means to improve the traditional single artificial verification.The watt-hour meter verification assembly line not only can save human resources,improve the efficiency of the verification,but also realize the standardization,digitization and informatization of the watt-hour meter verification,which will become an effective way to solve the dilemma of the current watt-hour meter verification in China.Firstly,this thesis analyses the development trend of smart meter and the present situation of the watt-hour meter verification device.Combined with market demand,this thesis puts forward a hardware and software design scheme of the watt-hour meter verification assembly line system based on CAN-Bus,which considers about the cost,efficiency,structure and so on.Then this thesis analyses the mechanical structure and the working principle of the watt-hour meter verification assembly line system and puts forward the modular design scheme.According to the control task of the system,the thesis realized the hardware circuit of embedded control system based on ARM core processor,including the signal sampling and processing circuit,output driver circuit,communication circuit and power supply circuit.And then the thesis designs the software of industrial control system on X86-based windows platforms,the main control unit software and the verification unit software based on uC/OS-II on the ARM processor.At the end of this thesis,the control system was tested in the laboratory and the field.The watthour meter verification assembly line has achieved a complete verification process which includes withstand voltage verification,initial verification and repeat verification.Compared with the traditional manual verification process,staff needs can be reduced by 70% while verification efficiency is increased by 180%.Compared to the existing pipelines,land area is reduced by 25%,control costs are reduced by 75% and verification efficiency is increased by 120%.The test result shows that the control system of the watt-hour meter verification line has the following advantages including perfect and reliable of the control process,high efficiency,easy maintenance and low cost.
