The rapid development of digital image processing and the performance boosting of computer hardware and software,prompting the machine vision technology widely applied in various industries.Many abroad and domestic researchers applied machine vision in industrial flotation to realize the automation of flotation production by monitoring flotation production process real-time.Image acquisition system is the most basic part of the machine vision,the quality of flotation directly affect the image post-processing of the result.But the factors of flotation surface motion and unstable light result in image quality unstable,it is easy to appear poor quality images,such as overexposure,underexposure and blurring.And the instability quality of images these collected by acquisition system hindered the application of machine vision in flotation industry.Therefore,in order to solve this problem,this article design the lead-zinc image acquisition system and proposed the image evaluation algorithm,which can guarantee the image quality in these two aspects.The main research work and method includes the following four aspects:(1)Galena-zinc flotation image acquisition system designThe demands of flotation automatic online monitoring system and requirements of technology are helpful for design image acquisition system overall.Guaranteeing the stability of system from hardware aspects,which can ensure image acquisition obtain high quality images.The performance of the camera is stable,the pictures those taken by camera is clearly,the color reproduction is good,and it can be controlled by program,increasing the adaptability of image acquisition system.Good design of lighting system will provide a steady lighting source,which can dispel negative factors for image acquisition system.(2)Proposed the standard of flotation image quality evaluationImage quality in different fields has different standards and the characteristics of evaluation parameters.Comprehensive natural experience of image quality assessment method,this paper select five image quality evaluation parameters as standard of flotation image quality evaluation,which come from flotation image features,image texture,and gray space.(3)Proposed the algorithm of flotation image quality assessmentIn order to guarantee the quality of the image processing,this article adopts the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on image quality evaluation before process flotation images.On the basis of a large number of experiments,analyzing the characteristic of image quality assessment parameters,determine the weight set,membership function and various evaluation matrix,and finally realizes the judgment of image quality.This method meet the demand of system real-time performance,the algorithm is simple and effective,and high accuracy.(4)The experiments of image acquisition system at the scene of the flotationIn order to verify the performance of the lead-zinc flotation image acquisition system and the algorithm of flotation image assessment whether meets requirement,this paper do a number of experiments at the scene of the flotation.The results of experiments show that the system work stable and able to adjust the parameters according to different flotation environment.And the algorithm of flotation image assessment has a high accuracy and can meet the system's real-time requirements.
